About Our Beer
We came up with the name Gilt & Flint as we grow the barley on flinty soil and a gilt is a baby female pig. We run the brewery as a partnership with Dan Fitzpatrick and Jason Slade.

The spent grain is a natural waste product of the brewing process that becomes lunch for our very grateful pigs!

We brew about twice a week (you can tell by the yeasty, hoppy aroma that drifts around the farm) and produce a range of organic brews, as well as a variety of saisons and special editions.
