ORGANIC DAIRY

Our milk and cream is supplied by Challon’s Combe Organics, one of the only ‘Pasture for Life’ dairy farms in the country. Conventional dairy herds are typically fed a diet high in grains in order to maximise their milk production but the cows at Challon’s Combe, like our beef herd, spend much of the year outdoors, eating only grass, or hay in winter. Their yields are lower, but the animals are less stressed and healthier too, which unsurprisingly leads to tastier and more nutritious milk. ​
